Homo sapiens had a very large complex brain, allowing the creation of many traits and skills. Their Brain size estimates suggest that the brain of Homo sapiens was larger than in other hominid species. The average cranial capacity of Homo sapiens is roughly 1300 cubic centimeters, making the brains of this species absolutely smaller than those of Homo neanderthal. Their large brain allowed them to, recognize seasonal patterns, become self aware, and resourceful.
