On September 10, 1940 John Lennon was born in Liverpool, England during World War 2.

In 1957 several things happened.  The first thing was that John Got his first guitar.  Another thing was that he created a band called the Quarrymen named after Quarry Bank High.  The last thing was that his mother, Julia gave him to his ant, Mimi.  Later that year Paul McCartney joined the Quarrymen.
 
 
===1958===
 
1958 was a very sad year for John because his mother died in a car crash on July 15.  Also George Harrison joined the Quarrymen and they wrote their first song, “Hello Little Girl.”
 
 
===1960===
 
In 1960 the Quarrymen changed their name the Beatles to go with the Crickets, another popular band.
 
 
===1961-1962===
 
In 1961 the Beatles wrote their first signal “My Bonnie,” and in 1962 John got married to Cynthia on August 23.  Also Ringo Star Joined the Beatles.

In 1963 John’s first child was born. His name was Julian Lennon and he was born on the eighth of April.

In 1966 John met Yoko Ono.
 
 
===1968===
 
In 1968 John and Cynthia got divorced.

In 1969 John and Yoko got married.  It was also the last time the Beatles played together.
 
 
===1970===
 
1970 was a terrible year for Beatles fans. It was the year the Beatles Broke up.  They broke up because John wasn’t paying any attention to the band only Yoko.  The band gave John a choice them or Yoko. John chose Yoko.
