Email is a way of exchanging digital messages across the internet or other computer networks. "Email" is an abbreviation of “electronic mail”. The communication system is called the Internet: a world-wide web of interconnected computer networks that trade information. Email is used to come in contact with people over the internet. The internet is a worldwide network linking computers to other computers. An Email message has two components: a header, and a body. The header usually contains the senders email address, recipient address(es), and a subject. Email pratforms often also contain various "chat" programs such a Google Chat.
Some email platforms include Gmail, Hotmail, AOL, Earthlink, and Yahoo.
