Radio is a transmission of wireless signals from one place to another in atmosphere or space. The first radio transmission was performed by a Canadian Reginald Aubrey Fessenden at Brant Rock, Massachusetts in December 1906. Even though the radio was discovered then, it did not gain popularity until WWI, but even then, people only heard ''about'' them, partially because the radio receivers were made by people interested in the radio.
