Ma'at, literally meaning truth in Egyptian, was more of a conceptualized God than Isis or Osiris. It represents all of the truth, balance, and order in the world. In Egypt it is thought that without Ma'at, the world would be in chaos. She was harmony, she was the right in right and wrong, and she was basically all things good. Because of Ma'at, the Nile flooded regularly as it should.
