Another large innovation of the Aurignacians is the production of composite tools. Composite tools are made by combining two different materials together to make something more suitable for the individual’s needs. An example of composite tools from the Aurignacians was the attachment of a stone blade to a wooden stick using glue made from tree-bark resin. These tools came in very handy to the people and allowed them more leverage.
