The people started making tools that were much more efficient for farming and planting crops. One of the few early tools was a digging stick used to dig furrows into the soil. They took this basic tool, and attached handles to it to create a plough. The frames would use oxen to work the ploughs through the land and it covered a much larger area. Another advancement in technology was the discovery of clay-fired pots , used by the farmers to store their food.
