Hammurabi was the great man that wrote the Code of Hamurabi. The Code of Hammurabi are the first known laws created in 1700 BC. This law shows rules and punishments of mostly farming, theft, and rights. Hammurabi wrote the law for the gods. He was one of the first kings to openly think he was not related to any gods, yet he knew he was one of the gods favorites.
