Line 1: Line 1:
The Aurignacians became much more methodical and thus much more successful in hunting and procuring food. The hunters of the tribe would track and plan around the migration patterns of their game, as well as the seasonal fluctuations in other sources of food (fruits, shellfish, etc). The hunters' minimal expenditure of effort coupled with the efficiency of their technique gave the tribe a constant source of food. The Aurignacians still had to get close to their prey to kill it, however, as evidence suggests that they did not make use of arrows or spear-throwers. They would rotate campsites in order to obtain the most food and would plan their year based around their needs.
