A band, is a type of society in which most commonly hunter-gatherers live with no defined leaders, and all people have a say in what the group decides to do. In this society, most of the time the men would work together to go hunt large animals, whereas, the women would gather foods such as fruits, seeds, and edible plants. Band usually consist of a few dozen people, and the people are loosely joined by marriage.
