In 1957 a skeleton of a 40 year old neanderthal was un earthed. This was surprising because 40 is 5 years over the average age of a neanderthal. Also he suffered from a withered right arm, a smashed eye socket, arthritis, and injuries to his legs. This displays their capability to care for an injured person and divide up labor among a group. Furthermore they were nomads that moved from place to place sometimes coming back to older places. This was discovered because there were sites with artifacts at different levels.
