H. Sapiens had a very different skull than had ever been seen before. They had grew to an average height of 167 cm, and so had their brain, to about 1350cc, however early H. Sapiens's brains were 1500cc.  Unlike other Homo species, H. Sapiens's skull was broadest at the top.  From the website:

As well, H. Sapiens's jaws were short, resulting in a vertical face design.  H. Sapiens was also the first species to have a protruding bony chin.  H. Sapiens have less muscles than other Homos, but their legs are also very long compared to the arm length.

Homo sapiens which means wise man in latin formed many new adaptions and characteristics to be able to survive in there climates. The Homo Sapiens first began to evolve during the ice age (Walking With Cavemen). Early Homo Sapiens had many special characteristics such as thinner and taller bodies, thinner bones, and longer limbs to keep cool in hot climates. They had relatively flat faces due to shorter jaw bones. They had darker skin to protect against the sun. Homo sapiens had smaller skulls that were rounded in the back instead of the big neanderthal skulls, they also had large brains, the average size was 1300 cc (37).
