− | Amhose was a pharaoh and the founder of the eighteenth dynasty. Amhose expelled the Hykos from Egypt to finish his fathers and brothers dream to take control of Egypt again. After he got rid of the Hykos (at the age of only ten) he ruled in the new kingdom for twenty five years until his death at age thiry five. He ruled from the years Amhose was driven by gold and his family's dreams. Amhose married his sister and had may children. He was buried in the Dra Abu el-Naga area but his tomb has not been found yet.
