Mesopotamians left a massive legacy for future civilizations. They came up with new things that we use today. The list includes Urbanization, writing, astronomy, wind power, irrigation, trade notation, agricultural developments, mathematics, chariots, the sailboat, and the wheel. Mesopotamian cities were the first cities which were economic, cultural, and religious centers of the realm. They had created an environment where a man could alter it to fit his needs. The main legacy of Mesopotamia was the separation of civilization. Their gods were separated and so was their lifestyle, with changes such as irrigation and technology protecting civilization against nature and creating a artificial environment to live in instead of nature. This way of thinking was later brought to the West. The manual describes Mesopotamia as having made many innovation, very importantly in trade and economics, and separating from nature.
