Mesopotamians left a massive legacy for future civilizations. They came up with new things that we use today. The list includes Urbanization, writing, astronomy, wind power, irrigation, trade notation, agricultural developments, mathematics, chariots, the sailboat, and the wheel. Mesopotamian cities were the first cities which were economic, cultural, and religious centers of the realm. They had created an environment where a man could alter it to fit his needs. These inventions made it possible for people to communicate and get around better. They helped create more efficient ways of watering plants to grow more food, so that more plants could be grown and more people could live in Mesopotamia. All of these inventions helped create better inventions for the future. But the greatest legacy of theirs was their idea of freedom which led to the formation of the western lifestyle that we live in today.
