Aurignacians formed the ability to advance and diversify tools, refining the way they produced blades into a much more advanced approach. This species was the first to make tools that would then help to make other tools, and amazing discovery and idea. By Using a bone or antler with a soft chisel tip, the species were able to break off much more blades with sharper points from the rock than by just hammering the rock. With this technique Aurignacians built micro-flints, burnishers, borers, punches, blades, and burins. The society that invented this tool technology is called the blade and burin society.
