Queen Tiyi, Daughter of a High Priest and a chief of the Harem Tuya, was married to Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Tiyi was an influential and powerful member of court. She had many temples and statues build in her honor. Also, Tiyi played an important role in foreign affairs [1]. Foreign leaders would come directly to her to make deals [2].
