Egypt's symbols and myths, which proved to be long lasting, and the basis of prehistoric kingship were at the heart of Egyptian Civilization. The temple represented the original mound of creation, with a shrine surrounding a perch were hawks would land. This myth caused a whole theory of society to be formed. The ancient beliefs of the myth still remain with us today.
