There are three important principles of culture.  The first is that if learning is an essential part of a culture, then teaching is also essential.  However, the second principle states that not all that is taught is learned, as well as culture exists in a constant change.  The third principle states that culture traditions and customs are negotiated agreements.  This means that the culture agrees on things that are right and wrong, for example, standing up when an adult comes into a classroom.
