Culture are based on beliefs, values, and ideals which make up a rule book for how the members of a culture act. Values are the predetermined views of whats right or wrong and good or bad.

According to Steve Pavlina some important values include, amazement, benevolence, and sensitivity, however those are just one mans beliefs. Some other American values include honesty, respect and responsibility, more precisely these are values of St.John's School. As a school we strive for these qualities and they drive our actions, dictating whether or not we cheat on a test, hopefully not, how we respond to others and how we act when nobody is watching. The values of a culture can vary greatly however all values that a culture believe in effect how the members of the culture act.
