Line 1: Line 1:
As the Merriam Webster dictionary says, "acculturation is the cultural modification of an individual, group, or people by adapting to or borrowing traits from another culture." Basically, this is saying that when people from different places/countries come to a new place/country they bring their culture to the place and they adapt to the new culture. An example of this is Tex-Mex. Mexicans came to Texas and brought the culture of Mexican food, but then they adapted to the culture in Texas and made Tex-Mex.
