Agricultural societies are static, they do not move, but hunter gathers are mobile.

In hunter-gatherer societies the woman need to wait 3 to 4 years before having

another child. The reason being that if woman have multiple highly dependent babies

then woman can not do anything. Agricultural societies have more children and therefore a bigger

population, because they are stationary and because with the successfulness of farming

the society had a dependable food supply so they did not have to worry about to many

mouths to feed.
