Factors That Regulate Climate:

Honolulu is in the middle latitudes (21 degrees North). It is relatively flat until you reach the mountains to the Northeast of it. Honolulu is an island surrounded by the Pacific Ocean. It is luscious because it is next to the ocean. The Prevailing winds normally come out of the Northeast. [2]
