Because Managua is near the equator it receives nearly vertical rays of sunlight, thus it is hotter than a lot of places. Managua temperature is close to the same thing all year round because it is on the edge of a large lake. Water heats and cools slower than land so the temperature of this city does to. Nicaragua switches between high and low pressure.
