| − | In today's society, unlike that of the first sedentary people, many understand fully the affects that industries today have on the environment. However, our problem is not if we know what we're doing, but do we care enough about stopping it to sacrifice millions of dollars and the stability of our economy. Although we barely feel the affects of the environment's decline now, eventually we'll have to do something about it, or feel repercussions and end up like the first civilization.
