Feng Shui

Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese practice dating back to over 6000 years ago. This method is used to balance the energy of any given space, and it assures health and good fortune for people inhabiting it. People with good Feng Shui will have good health and fortune, whereas people with bad Feng Shui would have bad health and fortune. The etymology of this word is from the Chinese words "Feng" meaning "wind" and "Shui" meaning "water." The reasoning for calling this thing "Feng Shui" is that both wind and water are considered to be related to good health. Feng Shui is based on Taoist thinking, and that the earth contains "Qi", or "Chi", and is a living thing. Feng Shui uses two tools, the Compass, and the Bagua (list of qualities shown below), that help to interpret one's Feng Shui.  Nowadays, we can use Feng Shui to model rooms, and gardens. By using the Bagua list below, you can arrange your own room to reflect whatever Feng Shui you prefer.
