Cattle were important in the societies because they provided meat and fur used for trade and survival. They were one of the first animals domesticated and lived with the people. They created a new way of life for nomads who herded them across vast areas. They were also used as sacrificial offerings to the gods in return for good luck and peace. In the end, cattle were a tremendous part in our ancestors' everyday lives and creating a basis for vast cities.

Why is cattle so important?
