The Ghassoulians lived in the southern part of the Jordan Valley, which is located in Jordan near the Dead Sea. This location was a major trade route between Egypt and Samar. The Ghassoulians produced and traded olive oil, olives, dates, figs, clay(pots), salt, and lentils. These items were traded between locations with long distances relative to each other, such as Afghanistan, which is located to the west of Jordan.
