16. Explain the second reason that history is important.

Return to History 8 The second reason why history is important is history is inescapable. The past causes the present, therefore the past causes the future. We have to look for factors that took shape earlier so that we can find them in the world today. The factors can only be found by studying and understanding history. (page 6 in the manual)
