History 8 Agriculture Vocabulary

Material culture is the beginnings of what we now refer to as economy. It is the relations of the people to their ideas, the making of objects, and the history of how they interpret them. In comparison to earlier times, the cultures we are now studying begin to focus on materialistic goods, such as technology. The studies on this concept have shown proof of clear methods for cultivating food, trading, creating new forms of technology, and effecting the environment with economic structures. The studies also show evidence of organized marketplaces for different things, such as money and land.
