Material culture is looking at the similarities between peoples things, their makings, preservation, and the perception of these objects. Also it exists in history, archaeology, anthropology, history, historic preservation, folklore, and museum studies. When viewing these objects as symbols ,like the picture shown below, you can see how cultures viewed things like gods, beliefs about the world, or day to day people. These symbols can also give an interesting view of what resources people had or were allowed to have. The most valuable piece of material culture during humans time is tapestry. Tapestry was used to write stories about the peoples day to day lives of the time. The vital information allows us to make extremely true hypothesis about their times.
