29. Define and give examples of features

From SJS Wiki

A feature is a certain characteristic or trait that a certain object has so that the viewer can identify what they are looking at. Features are in everything that has ever existed in the world and that will ever exist in the world. For example the human face has many features, like the nose. A nose can be very different from person to person because one person could have a small nose, another a big nose, and one has a pointy nose. The nose tells us first that it is a human and then depending on what the nose looks like it can tell us what exact person it is. The same is true for non-living objects, such as a tree. When we see a tree we know right away what it is because it has bark and leaves and limbs. If you want to know exactly what type of tree it is you could look at its leaves in more detail and find out. Features will always be there to assist in identifying objects.
