3. Why has western culture kept changing?

Western culture continues to change because it is based on a relentless curiosity. Because we never stop asking questions, we never stop getting answers, and with new knowledge comes a new perception of reality. When we learn new information about nature, technology, or anything else, it effects our beliefs, our morals, and our values. The West is so persistent in its search for new information, governments fund research labs in which people ask questions and try to find answers. Places like these have led to great discoveries, such as that of the Higgs-Boson particle, which was discovered in the CERN research center in Bern, Switzerland.
