Walled Towns
The first walled towns were in Canaan. These walls not only provided defenses, but set a clear boundary for towns to abide by. The walls were built of rough stone and/or unbaked mud brick.
Potter's Wheel
The potter's wheel allowed artisans to craft objects out of clay and make "pottery". These products can be used to transfer goods easily, especially liquids.
Metal Weapons
Metal weapons could be made from copper by expert craftsmen, but with a steep price tag. Only the upper class could afford these high quality weapons.
