Cultural hybridity is when a person from a different background adds to another culture. One advantage of this is that people can become more acceptant of other beliefs, races, languages, and religions. A disadvantage of cultural hybridity is that one might lose their heritage while assimilating into a "cultural melting pot" Also, people might be persecuted for their beliefs or religion.
