Climatic Shifts have affected many things in the past. A climactic shift is a change in weather and temperature, quicker than climate change. In the past, climactic shifts caused important grains such as wheat and barley to move from where they had been previously located to newer destinations. As a result the people of the surrounding areas moved with the grain, and set up their establishments where the grain was. This climate shift changed the surrounding landscapes forever.
