9. Khufu

Khufu was the second pharaoh of the Fourth Dynasty, and he was the son of Queen Hetepheres and Kin Sneferu. He was born in 2609 BC and died in 2584 BC. His greatest accomplishment was b uilding the Great Pyramid at Giza, which is one of the seven wonders of the world. It took him 23 years to complete the pyramids and over 2 million building blocks were used. Not much is known about him, and his only surviving statue is piece of Egyptian royal sculpture ever discovered. It is 3 inches high and made of ivory.
