The Assyrian culture made huge advances in math and science. Some historians claim this is due to their obsessive behavior towards warfare and the art of invasion. The Assyrians established the division of the circle into 360 degrees. Also, the Assyrians were among the first to create longitude and latitude lines for geographical navigation. In addition, they advanced and influenced ideas of medical science, creating concepts that traveled as far as Greece.
