The Dhammapada

The Dhammapada is made of 423 verses in Pali which was recited by the Buddha multiple times. (305, to be exact). This book is made up of 26 different chapters and each stanza is divided by the different subjects.

"These sayings were selected and compiled into one book as being worthy of special note on account of their beauty and relevance for molding the lives of future generations of Buddhists" (CF Manual, 139)
