Factors that Regulate the Climate

During the beginning of June to the end August, Cape Town's winter months, most of it's annual rainfall occurs because of the mountainous topography, though the amount of rainfall in a specific part of a city varies dramatically. During the Summer, November to March, there is a south-easterly wind caused by a high pressure system, known as the South-Atlantic High. [5]
