Elijah

Elijah is a heroic figure in Jewish religion. It is he who stands up to King Ahab, whose Phoenician wife has tried to introduce the worship of the idol Baal into the Jewish Kingdom. He is a prophet of In the book The Fifth Mountain, written by Paulo Coelho in 1996 highlights Elijah's time in Zarephath (in the book, it is known as Akbar.)The story is based on the story of Elijah from the Hebrew Bible (1 Kings chapters 17-19).

Miracle

After Elijah's confrontation with Ahab, God tells him to flee out of Israel, to a hiding place by the brook Cherith, east of the Jordan, where he will be fed by ravens. God sends him to a widow living in the town of Zarephatho in Phoenicia. When Elijah finds her and asks to be fed. The widow at first claims that she has no food, but eventually gives Elijah the last of her bread. Later when her son dies, Elijah repays her with the help of Ahab by reviving her son.
