Fossilization

The example of fossilization found in this chapter is on page 57. The example states that creatures have lived and died there, leaving the bones in the marsh. Then the rivers fed the marsh causing silt from the hills to fall and cover up the bones layer by layer until there was no marsh and no bones in sight.
