Loads of computer companies use Intel chips in their computers. Intel is better known to the public because of their commercials as well as their catchy theme song that plays at the end of those commercials. Intel continues to appeal to the common man through their great product placement in different computer companies' computers.

Intel would also compete with AMD to develop processors, driving the companies to produce better processors. Because of Intel's competition with AMD, processors have advanced substantially in the past ten years. Intel has ensured that they will be around for quite some time as computer companies like Apple and Dell need processors for their computers [1].
