Mac OS X Leopard

Leopard is Apple Computer’s 6th release of the Mac OS X operating system preceded by Mac OS X Tiger. Leopard is advertised to have over 300 new features including stacks, time machine, and screen sharing. Leopard also has a completely new look, with a semi-transparent and reflective dock and semi- transparent menu bars. A new viewing option in the finder allows you scroll threw all your files using cover flow, previous used in iTunes. Leopard also adds a new feature in Safari in which one may highlight a section of a webpage and add it to the dashboard. This portion of the website updates in correlation to how the website updates. The Wall Street Journal said that Leopard is the most innovative incarnation of Mac OS X yet. It is announced that Leopard will be succeeded with Mac OS X Snow Leopard, it will focus mainly on internal advancements rather than new features and a new look. Accompanied with iLife ’08 (and now the new iLife ’09) and the new MacBooks, Leopard is an innovative operating system with a dazzling user interface.
