Promethean Activboard
• A large display of a computer on a white board like screen. It is hooked up to a computer with a USB cable. The Promethean Activboard was designed by teachers, for teachers to transform the classroom into a truly interactive learning environment. The Activboard comes complete with two Activpens that write like pens with the added functionality of a mouse, and a choice of our award-winning software packages, Activprimary and Activstudio. Interactive whiteboards enable anything that can be seen or done on a computer screen to be projected onto a whiteboard. Sounds simple enough, but seeing it (and your students) in action is nothing short of magical. Hide, reveal or highlight text and images to stimulate discussion. Encourage active participation through measuring tools, such as interactive rulers or protractors. Engage their senses with sounds, colors and videos that make your lessons click. The Activslate
Movement is a natural component of interactive learning. The Activremote
Learning is boundless. Teaching should be too. With Activremote, your mobility is maximised. As you are able to move around the classroom while controlling applications on the computer. With the push of a button, from the back of the room, teachers can direct Activote and Activexpression voting, advance lesson slides, navigate web browsers or even start a movie. Just set the commands, and Activremote enables you to be in control, wirelessly. •
The Activtablet
Tomorrow’s lessons are only as good as today’s preparation. Thanks to Promethean’s Activtablet, now lessons can be prepared with ease, from anywhere. The Activtablet plugs directly into the computer’s USB port enabling maximum portability. And the wireless pen simulates interaction with the Activboard even when you’re nowhere near it. The time has arrived to think (and prepare dynamic lessons) outside of the classroom walls. •
