Mandate of Heaven

Mandate of Heaven is the authority of rule as long as you are just. This is the main concept of Chinese civilization. There are four principles of the Mandate of Heaven. The first principle is the right to rule is only granted by Heaven. The second is because there is only one heaven, there can only be one ruler. The third is that right to rule is based on the virtue of the ruler. The fourth and the last is the right to rule is not limited to one dynasty.
