History 8 Human Origins Vocabulary

The Homo Habilis was on of the first ape men that scientists have found evidence of eating marrow. Also the Homo Erectus fueled a larger brain because they ate the more calorie and nutrient dense marrow instead of plant life. The fact that these species ate bone marrow means that they were able to make tools in order to get the marrow out of the bone. This means that when these early humans ate bone marrow they were increasing the size of their brain which would allow them to make more complex tools.
