Monitor

A monitor is an output device which is the screen of a computer that displays the actions made by the keyboard, mouse, or any other part of the computer. This can also be described as "the visual display unit". The monitor information is displayed by pixels which provide the color, light, etc. Notebook Computers and Laptops technically do not have separate monitors, it is all compacted into one structure, and the term monitor is a seperate thing. Sometimes people call monitors “screens”, but that is not technically correct. When someone says “screen” they are referring to the glass on the monitor rather than the entire structure.
