Mycenaean Trade

Resources

The Mycenaeans, despite the conditions of their soil, grew a few crops in plentiful amounts. Grapes were a main part of their crop production, along with olives. They lived on the island Peloponnesus, and had a great deal of access to the coastal areas. With that access, fish became part of their diet.

Connections

The Mycenaeans traded with their neighboring islanders, the Minoans. They had little organization, but through contact with the Cretans, the Mycenaeans soon began to organize themselves around the Middle Helladic period. Their culture blossomed into a functioning civilization.
