Material culture is examining the relationship between people and their things, the making, history, preservation, and interpretation of objects. Material culture exists in history, archaeology, anthropology, history, historic preservation, folklore, and museum studies. When viewing these objects as symbols ,like the picture shown below, you can see how cultures viewed things like gods or day to day people. These symbols can also give an interesting view of what resources people had or were allowed to have.
